Artium Art Gallery was founded in 1991 and has been directed since that date by Selda Gullu. Artium holds 8 - 10 exhibitions each season. The gallery is closed from July - August.

The gallery aims to provide a pleasant, welcoming, comfortable, informative, aesthetically pleasing and authentic atmosphere in which artworks can be presented in an appropriate way to viewers, art lovers and collectors.

The majority of works exhibited at Artium are oil paintings although we do sometimes stage exhibitions of water colours or sculpture. Artium's mission is "e;The promotion of Art in such a way that it becomes an integral part of society and the individual in conjunction with the presentation of Art as a concept that transcends international boundaries."

This commitment is refelcted in the attention that Artium gives to it's own shows and those it organises overseas. Recent exhbition venues have included Bulgaria, USA and Sweden and recent artists have included Burhan Dogancay, Ekrem Kahraman, Serap Demirag, Christo Yotov, Goran Hulten, Zeki Serbest and Temucin Ceviren.

Artium is a founding member of Tusgad and Selda Gullu is currently the association's treasurer.
