1940	Born in Bergama
1961	Graduated from Ankara Gazi University, Faculty of Education and Art
1968	Graduated from IDGSA Fine Arts Department
1968-72	Worked as an illustrator for several publishing houses
1972	Moved to France to work as an illustrator for publishing houses including Haccete and Jaguar
1995	Returned to Turkey and took up a lecturing position at Mimar Sinan University in Istanbul.
I have known Sedat for a very long time, when he took on the position of illustrator for Hachette in Paris it was obvious that he was at the height of his technical and creative powers. The books that he illusrated have become documents of his ability. Now, having returned to Turkey, I feel that his work will be appreciated by our art community. Prof. Suleyman Saim Tekcan, 1998
