Armoni Art Gallery was established in Ankara in 1998. The owners and principals of the gallery are Aynur Pehlivanli and Aevrin Ozdemir. Over the last decade Armoni has hosted 110 exhibitons by individual artists and many other group exhibitions. Armoni makes a conscious effirt to promote Turkish art to an international audience and to this end has exhibited in many foreign countries, recently showing the work of 5 turkish artists (Nuri Iym, Mehmet Pesen, Huseyin Yuce, Nuri Abac and Yalcin Gokcebag) in Holland.

Armoni is gratified by the number of times that shows held in the Gallery have helped bring the exhibiting artist to the attention of the Turkish Art World, often leading to awards from the Art Institution - Huseyin Bilisik, S, Sim Tekcan, Ozdemir Altan, Turan Erol and Nuri Abac have all been named artists of the year after exhibiting at Armoni. Huseyin Bilisik chose Armoni as the venue for the celbration of his 50th Anniversary.

Our Ankara gallery has also hosted Nusamettin Kocan's 'Osmanli' exhibition, Ozdemir Altan's 'Soy Agaclari' and Ibraim Ciftcioglu's "Kara Defter" collages. Our 1998/9 season is culminating with an exhibition of the work of Nevzat Akoral.

We have given particular emphasis to bringing the work of foreign sculptors to Ankara and have recently exhibited Necdi Rashidov, Zahari Komenov and Vasko Taskouskis. We were also pleased at the response to our exhibition of Brazilian naive artists.

The gallery acts as manger for Yalcin Gokcebag and we were instrumental in the success of the artists third London exhibition this year.

Armoni Art Gallery was one of the founding members of the Association of Turkish Art Galleries.
